We traveled from the Netherlands and wanted a serious trekking challenge, so we booked Choquequirao. The agency was very clear about the difficulty before we started, which we appreciated. The guide managed the group very well and the support during the trek was excellent. The climbs were tough, but the scenery and the archaeological site made every step worth it. It felt like a real adventure.
