We traveled from Canada and booked the Salkantay Trek to Machu Picchu. Everything was organized very well from the briefing in Cusco to our final visit to Machu Picchu. Our guide was friendly, patient, and extremely knowledgeable about the mountains and local culture. The trek was challenging, especially around Salkantay Pass, but the team always made sure everyone felt comfortable. The scenery was incredible and arriving at Machu Picchu at the end made the whole experience unforgettable.

The scenery was spectacular and reaching Choquequirao with very few other visitors around was a special experience.

We especially loved the change in landscapes as we descended toward the warmer valleys. Finishing with Machu Picchu was the perfect ending.
